@chronoreverse: Are you confident it's actually not waking up? Does touching the screen/buttons do anything at all? What's the LED behavior (I assume there's a power LED on this thing? ^^).

You mention a delay between the original power button press and the wakeup attempt, does it work if you only wait, say, a few seconds? A few minutes?

Check the crash.log?
