ePub3 is not supported by PB sw. A quick test showed me, that neither nav nor series metadata used by the library and reader app.
Workaround: Sigil can generate epub2 toc from epub3 nav for backward compatibility, for series info use a metadata editor to insert the calibre series info (but don't let calibre itself touch the book after that, it removed that metadata for me...).
