Thanks for the thought! Yes, it was weather related. We got a little less snow than predicted, but only because the changeover to freezing rain happened earlier. My son still needed to get to work so, at the height of the mess I white-knuckled it in the 16 year old (but well maintained!) minivan and got him to his job.

By quitting time the temperature had risen to one degree (F) above freezing, and we were just getting a cold rain -- no ice. Still sloppy, but way better!



And right now I'm sipping on a Diet Coke with a splash of Sprite that I picked up on the way.
