And that's enough for me, since I'm not a huge audiobook listener, just mostly for my commute.

I've noticed that of all of the audiobook customers on this Site,
tubemonkey consistently gets better deals, and spends less money, than the rest of us.
Why, he, himself says that he has spent only $3 on audiobooks in his entire life (I think that he went on a binge a few weeks ago, though, and bought several dollars in audiobooks at one time; I was worried about him)!
He seems like a shy, unassuming, honest simian (when I think of him, I often think of Zira of
The Planet of the Apes). But with the deals that he gets, I have to believe that he is actually on the take. Yes, I'm afraid that that is true.
The big audio retailers like Audible are not stupid. They realize that tubemonkey is a highly influential person--uh, hominoid--in the audiobook world. And they know that millions of people monitor this forum every single day. All that tubemonkey has to do is merely
mention the title of an audiobook, and throngs of people immediately go out and snap them up (or, I should say something like "download them in a fury"). And, in return, they grease his furry little hand with audiobook deals that none of the rest of us can get. In politics, what he is doing is called "influence peddling."
Tubemonkey seems like such a nice guy (Aaargh, I did it, again; he's not a
guy. But, he just seems so
human sometimes!) but underneath that fur, he is devious and greedy.
I've thought of reporting him to the moderators, but then I realize that
he is a moderator! Talking about corruption at the highest levels!
I truly hate to be the herald of this sad news. We all love tubemonkey.
