Stevens, Francis: Citadel of Fear (1918), v1

Gertrude Barrows Bennett, 1884-1948, used the pseudonym Francis Stevens for a number of fantasy novels, of which this is one of the best known. It is a lost world/lost civilsation novel.

The source text was Internet Archive. I could not find a page image scan. The cover was created by me by using the painting on the cover of the 1918 issue of Argosy Magazine, in which the serialisation began, and which depicts an incident in Chapter 2.
