I've tried removing and reinstalling Kindle Previewer 3.29.1 and your 1.27 plug in. Running Calibre 3.39.1, but trying to convert anything to kfx including the Frankenstein test file gives the following error:

calibre, version 3.39.1
ERROR: KFX conversion failed: Cannot convert Frankenstein Conversion error: Kindle Previewer error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\Users\pwlyons\AppData\Local\Amazon\Kindle Previewer 3\lib\fc\lib\MessagingJNI.dll: The specified procedure could not be found

I should add this started with Kindle Previewer versions greater than 3.24 which works fine with plug-in 1.26. Now that plugin 1.27 doesn't support Previewer 3.24, this is an issue.
