Thanks for your reply. Very helpful. As I alluded to at the end of my first post I think I figured it out in the end. I know in my head exactly what needs connecting to what. I have substituted parts to keep costs down but am aware that if I brick it I have increased my costs substantially
Typically everything I ordered arrived in good time except for one thing so I am delaying trying this until the last part does arrive.
If it goes wrong all blame is on me.
If it works I'll post some details here.
