There are only two new tracks, but what with them being from The Rembrandts, I'll gladly take these freebies.

If the name of this rock/power pop band doesn't ring a bell, you surely might recognize some of their hits. They had a great hit with "Just the Way It Is, Baby," for example. Another hit was the #1 selling, "I'll Be There For You," the theme song from the TV show "Friends."

The Rembrandts are one of those "whatever happened to . . . . ?" great artists. You know the ones that I'm talking about. They crank out some great hits--maybe a string of them--and then . . . seem to disappear.

Well, the Rembrandts didn't disappear; however, it has been 18 years since they produced a studio album! They've just recently released a new one. The giveaway of the two tracks from the album obviously is timed to coincide with this auspicious occasion.

I've listened to both tracks. They've got "catchy" tunes. I like them--but don't let that deter you from grabbing them.
