I can share my experience:
I put the protector and it sucked, lots of bubbles and spots, you have to get like a really clean enviroment to apply it (big mistake on my part).
Tried reapplying it once and it became worse.
Then I looked up on the web and gave it a last try, it was a nightmare but this worked:
- remove the screen protector (it will get a lot of dust and particles from the enviroment on the sticky side, but I'll get to that)
- clean the screen protector as much as possible, I used dishsoap and water and let it dry, then pat it lightly with sticky tape, try not to bend the protector too much.
Now comes the hard work:
- put the screen protector, this is to show every spot and bubble, try to use a plastic card to flatten the bubbles and show where the dust spots are
- the screen is now full of spots caused by particles, not by air bubbles
- start removing the dust, from the middle to the margins, this will take a lot of patience, lift the portector and use sticky tape to remove each dust spot either from the screen or the back of the protector, put it again quickly using the plastic card to avoid more dust into it (I used the notes app with touch ban to circle each spot to keep track of this task hehe), this took me more than an hour
- eventually it will get good enough, the margins will be a little lifted but that doesn't botter me, and to be fair this rescue mission turned out pretty well
