I have 6 Paperwhites of different vintage as well as a Voyage. Three of the Paperwhites and the newest model. I also help a lot of my neighbors with their Paperwhites here in my retirement home so I see a lot of them.
When I put any of them side by side to compare there are pretty big differences. When I read with them they're all about the same. That's the only reasonable test.
