Because in the setup, I had to go through a step to see if Alexa could control the device; shouldn't that have indicated to Alexa the Stupid that I might want to use said device? What other reason would anyone have for connecting the device to Alexa? I did try several times to refresh the list of devices, but there was nothing to tell me to SCAN for new devices.
So ... either the discovery should have been automatic, OR I should have been prompted to scan. Neither happened.
I was going to try pairing my two Dots for stereo sound today too, but I don't feel like having another frustrating set-to with Alexa. Tomorrow is another day.
