It was and I did.
It has rained, drizzled and hailed. For a short time wet snow was falling. Which was more wet than snow, but I can say it snowed during my vacation. More rain/hail/snow is on its way, since it has cooled down now the sun's gone it might be proper snow. So I'm going to light a fire soon and watch a film.
