I have 3 x win 10 systems. All painful. Two are x86-64 keyboard tablets that are identical, yet one silently fails on update.
It's probably a Win 10 driver problem. Networks, sound devices etc have vanished after updates and only browsing to windows.old for a driver fixed it.

Try deletion of USB device in Win10 device manager when the PRS350 is connected and re-install. Mine works OK on XP, Win7 and Linux. I've not tried it on Win10.
