no. in fact, because i've only had my kindle 2 since monday, and it's my first, i would describe the screen as almost eerily static. it is actually *relaxing* to look at.

but if i'm about to unexpectedly end up 'counting tiles', i'll be glad to have my book available on my ipod touch.
