I've wondered if there isn't some better way for kindergarten - ? students to learn than by the rote memorization route. To be honest with you, I kind of feel sorry for them--having endlessly to memorize and take tests and things. However, it seems to have gotten the job accomplished of creating an educated workforce.

Montessori, for relevant ages, is intriguing to me.

As far as language instruction goes, the smart money seems to be on total immersion. I went the usual route in high school--basically listen and repeat, repeat, repeat. I had the opportunity to go to France and be in a total immersion program--I had a benefactor, and everything. If it was physically possible, I'd kick myself for not taking advantage of that.

Yes, I'm interested in hearing what the author of the book behind this audiobook has to say . . . . Thanks for posting the audiobook.
