Beauty by Robin McKinley which is "A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast" for $1.20, so extremely affordable if someone is thinking of nominating it.
It looks like she has several different retellings but this is the only one on sale right now. I will note that it is available at some Overdrive libraries so you may not need to purchase it.
