I prefer to buy from Kobo all else being equal, but I agree that Amazon's return policy is a plus. (I ended up returning one of my late last year purchases at that, once I came to my senses.) On the other hand, given that most annoying one-click mechanism for buying ebooks, they do need some way of undoing random touch purchases, of which I've made more than one. And sometimes not realizing it until the purchase confirmation showed up in my inbox! |
I only use Kobo as that links to my local independent book store and they get some of the profit whenever I buy an ebook. Amazon might kill us all one day, but I am trying to do my bit to slow them down at least a little.
