I hang out on an
Olympus mailing list (it started as an "OM" list, but has steadily evolved, and is fairly casual in nature). It makes me less averse to the format, though, saying that, I just updated my DSLR to a "full-frame" model.

Yes. Though it seems that their larger cameras are providing the "Compact Flash" option (their smaller are providing for "microSD"). I'm not sure how much staying power xD has. Personally, I like CF because I'm least likely to accidentally insert one in a nostril or lick the back of it and attach it to an envelope.
