For your own sake, please go back to your log post and X out all except the first six characters of your device's serial number.
With serial port access, you can always recover the device.
It has been done even after installing a brand new eMMC device (which is about as blank as blank can be).
Amazon does not post a checksum for their file downloads, so the best thing to do is download the same file (renaming as you go) two or three times, then compare them, the checksum utility you use should give the same result on all of them.
