Disable or uninstall the KoboTouchExtended driver will revert to the KoboTouch driver. But, based on your experience (you didn't notice you were using kepubs), there is little difference in how the books are displayed. And you lose the ability to double-tap images to zoom. And as you reported this not working as a bug, I assumed it was important to you to be able to do that.
