Thanks! I'm backing up to a cloud storage. But, this is always good advice!
With the cloud backup, I can use my kindle fire to read pdf books. I just got an hd 10 inch, and while it isn't the sharpest crayon in the box, it is an excellent pdf reader, and with this size, it is almost the same size as an actual hardback book.
My oh my, how I love openlibrary.org.
