I think viewing the world through eyes that sees everyone as beautiful must be a wonderful way to live - but I'm having a hard time buying into it  .
I'm still in the 'eye of the beholder' camp (spiders are gorgeous!!  ).

I think a good photographer can help to reveal the underlying beauty in everything. But the viewer of the photograph has to be open to seeing the beauty, as well. This doesn't mean that I think "everything" is beautiful in an uncritical sense--poverty isn't beautiful. But people living in poverty can still be beautiful. I've seen some amazing photographs of the "mundane" that were quite sublime.
