I respond myself, the problem with Moon Reader is with the last update, I've downloaded version 4.5.3 and it works well.
About the reason why they didn't use android 4.4, discussed on this thread, I think is because on KitKat you can't move apps to SD, and the way that is partitioned the internal Rom, it's a must.
