Hi all

I hate unpleasant surprises with firmware changes and so have switched off my Touch wifi since 2016, and am perfectly content with the software I had.

Today I decided to download a library book for the first time, and authorised my Touch for the first time with Adobe.

My home screen previously only showed previews of the last (6?) books read. Now I am stuck with a new home screen containing My Books, Kobo Shop, and related reads as well as four books from my library.

Can anyone please tell me why this happened? I still haven't even got around to downloading the library book yet. It appears that I am now running software version 4.8.

Is there any way to return to my simpler old home screen without shop links?
