Best Buy has been doing this for a while now. I don't like it at all. I noticed they still had a couple of the Paperwhite 3s on sale, for $20 more than the Paperwhite 4s, which is kind of odd.

I really like the Tolino Vision 2. Small, light, bright screen, dark fonts and can be dimmed way down for night reading. It looks like the Tolinos are turning into my "go to" readers. Hardware-wise the Visions are basically your Aura, except slightly longer and with a home button (and an E-Carta screen). (And versions 2 through 4 are waterproof.)
