Some errors need a Human to dig out what was wrong.
Also 'repairing' a repair usually just compounds the problems. The original 'repair' did not get what was wron correct and made a change, but it was not the correct place to change. A mess.
Start OVER with the original. Read, CONSIDER what solution makes sense and fix each item
