A movie isn't the same. Not only are the words different, the story is often different. It's not the same thing. The average movie made from a book is an abridgement of that book at best. At worse it's not even the same thing.

I went to see a movie made from a book I had recently read. The only thing in common was the title and the names of the two main characters. Nothing else matched including the plot.
