I think the poster meant the firmware download page for Paperwhite 3 reverted back to 5.9.7 after it had moved up to 5.10.1.1. As for downgrading, I know that requires jail breaking (but I'm sure if jail breaking can be done on the 5.10.1.1 yet -- or if will ever be).
