@Arn: The default config expects you to follow instructions *to the letter*: namely, unpacking the archive *as is* and *in its entirety* to the *root* folder.

This would mean plato.png ends up in an icons subfolder .

Instead, you manually put the plato.png file directly at the root, which is not where the config expects it: kaboom .

As @sherman just said, the easiest solution is simply to adapt the plato config to remove that icons/ folder from the filename key in the plato config (you'll have to restart your device after). It's unlikely to ever need an update, so you should be able to keep it like that pretty much forever .

The other solution is to delete the Plato icon/book *from the Kobo UI*, then unpack it in the right place again. You'll also have to reboot after.

Sidebar: if you had other stuff being watched by KFMon, this effectively broke that, as KFMon aborts if it cannot find any of the requested files.
