PDF formatted for Sony PRS-505 of Richard Stallman's "Free Software, Free Society: Selected Essays of Richard M. Stallman". (see
website).
From the website:
"Permission is granted to make and distribute verbatim copies of this book provided the copyright notice and this permission notice are preserved on all copies."
(Also specifically asked permission from GNU Press to upload to MobileRead which they granted).
This pdf is created from the texi files available from
http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/rms-essays with format adjustments for the sizing etc.
I converted this file nearly a year ago but never got round to uploading it until a recent posting in the OpenInkpot forum jogged my memory. These essays provide an understanding of why rms created the Free Software movement and why projects like OpenInkpot are important.
Attached is the PDF file and a tarball containing the diff containing the patches I applied to the texi files to get it to run with a modern version of texinfo, the generated xml file and my xsl-fo file for generating the pdf.
