Technically, we don't know that for sure as it hasn't been tested yet.
For PW3 and newer, SO status appears to get established upon registration with Amazon. Unregistered, factory fresh PW3s are essentially non-SO. The SO status may or may not get wiped out with a reset (I have no idea where SO information is kept).
