Bookcat, Amazon actually does know about your terrible (prefer not to know what sort exactly) porn regardless of where you buy your books. As for my reasons, I am not worried, merely annoyed and uninterested in having a mega corporation tracking every book I read, every note I take, and every paragraph that I highlight.
