Yeah, it's nice having all of your books from Amazon, B&N and Kobo in a single location.
Now before you start adding books from those stores, you'll need to learn about Calibre's DRM plug-ins. But before you do that, maybe just install Calibre, import your DRM-free ePubs and get comfortable with the platform.
