So what do you do if the word is not on your screen???
[On the K1]Press the Search button; key the word you wish to search for; click "Go." The Kindle searches its index for all instances of that word. One choice will be "Dictionary." Confirm that selection and you will be rewarded with the [default] New Oxford American Dictionary definition.
