Vance, Louis Joseph: The Lone Wolf Returns (1923); v1

The fifth and last Lone Wolf adventure, illustrated with stills from the 1923 Columbia silent movie starring Billie Dove and Bert Lytell.

(Despite Vance's introductory words in this book that it was the fifth and last Lone Wolf, he wrote several more:

The Lone Wolf's Son (1931)
Encore the Lone Wolf (1933)
The Lone Wolf's Last Prowl (1934)

which wasn't his last prowl, after all:

The Lone Wolf and the Hidden Empire (1947; posthumously published).

Vance died in 1933.)
