I want to open two apps side by side without rooting the ereader. I use Wikipedia often to look up some information. Unfortunately as split screen option is unavailable it cant be done. So i am now using the monitor mode for my writing. I emailed Onyx asking if they can allow split screen as the Max Pro has 4 gb ram surely the device should be able to cope with this.
For now i am using the monitor mode which is fine. Thanks for your help.
