Thanks Diap. I have that disappearing screen thing at other times, so it's not specific to Sigil. It's usually that I'm doing something like in GIMP and a screen from a browser I was using earlier will flash on the screen--usually when I'm trying to open an image--but when I scroll the mouse around the screen the GIMP screen returns. Maybe I have too much open, but it's nothing to worry about. And yeah, "The Test" said no errors so that's good. Bring on the plugins! Ha ha.
