Honestly I find Koboys replies helpful.
They’re a great indication of the hyperbole that surrounds whatever device he’s commenting on without ever actually purchasing and/or seeing in real life.
It’s a good measure of the issues I can safely ignore since they are typically just other users who are overly sensitive to various things with a device which he then takes as gospel and spouts off about as if they were the doom and gloom of said device.
Granted this would likely be no different if he didn’t feel the need to repeatedly trash devices he has never actually even touched. But it’s almost fun having that guy who feels the need to crap all over things other people like while trying to mask it like he’s doing some public service.
I’ve mentioned elsewhere that he’s basically never said a good thing about Kobo to which he replied with a quote which he’d posted to a thread I’d started asking about the sleepcover, his quote was merely a link to someone else’s comments on it. Somehow this was aimed at disproving my comment about him not giving fair and balanced information on various kobo products. Note I had never said his posts were not helpful.
I’m also unsure as to why anyone engages with him anymore. It’s long since become obvious that he’s not interested in opposing viewpoints.
