But, at 6'2" with two sons roughly the same size, it allows us to get in comfortably and carry enough luggage. Or food as they grew up. So it is comfortable for us. But, not perfect. It was a compromise between carrying capacity, comfort, manoeuvrability, price and all sorts of other things. When I replace it, there will be a different compromise (they've moved out).

As I said, all purchases are compromises. None of the products available are perfect. I look at the available products and decide if anything comes close enough to satisfy me. Sometimes I discover that I was wrong, and the product doesn't suit. Sometimes I discover I was wrong and that something I thought was important, isn't.

And for the case under discussion, that grey band on the edge of the Forma screen did not affect my use of the device in any way at all. Would it be better if it was not to be there? Of course. Am I going to buy another one now that my wife has claimed the Forma? I'm not sure. But the hesitation is because it is a little big to carry around between the sections of my commute. Offsetting that is that is it was so easy to hold while standing waiting for the bus or train.
i will make this brief for once. i agree perfection in buying anything is very rare if indeed highly unlikely which is why i didn't say it. i did however say that if something doesn't work 100% to my satisfaction/ i'm happy with it then it gets returned which seems a reasonable position to me to hold.

what others choose to do as i've already said is entirely up to them.

best wishes koboy
