You have another option. If you use 'trade-in' for an old fire or kindle, you can apply the trade-in $$ and get 25% off the PW. Limited time though, but it's a way to get a cheaper PW. What's nice about the current trade-in rules is that you still get $5 + the 25% off a new device if your Fire isn't working!
