Likebook Mars - Very Scary Disappearing Book Bug

With the latest November update, after using the system supplied browser for a while, and upon attempting to return to the book I was reading, the Mars asserted that the book did not exist, and asked confirmation to delete the books information!

At first I was astonished and didn't know what to do, so I ended up deleting the books information (according to the reader). The book entry then vanished from the bookshelf.

Curious, I opened another book that I had been recently reading. Surprise! Same message, inviting me to delete the book's information because assertedly, the book does not exist on my device!

After three of my 150 books disappeared from the bookshelf in this shocking manner, I decided enough was enough, and rebooted the Mars.

Upon rebooting I was able to open books in my bookshelf without receiving the alarming and horrifying "your book does not exist" message.

Of course, since I was reading the books that vanished I attempted to re-upload them via wi-fi transfer. Surprise! The transfer program doesn't care about all this disappearing book intrigue, and it refuses to upload the book that vanished from my device. I can only guess why because the Wifi transfer program only speaks chinese characters!

Desperate, I tried actually deleting the books from my device as they were still listed on the Wi-Fi book transfer interface. After actually deleting the books in this way, I was permitted to re-upload them.

And, Surprise! When I opened the books that re-appeared on my bookshelf, they opened at the very position I had last been reading. Whew!?

Some positive closing remarks: I must say that I really like the Likebook Mars generally (apart from an under the glass screen defect requiring return and replacement that I hope will be defect free). Font and dictionary installation works, but keep in mind that they call the visible main directory of the internal disk /sdcard. The PDF support (especially cropping fat-margined legal documents) of the default app is awesome.
