As far as I've been able to find out, the UK don't do delivery on anything they have. And their reservation system is "erratic" (I'm not sure if it is still running) and their on-line stock checking policy is the best random number generator I've found.
Suddenly John Lewis' prices seem very good value....

Ikea do some home delivery in the UK - either from the store (it's cheaper than hiring a van, but more expensive than using a dodgy taxi company...) or from their website.The last time I thought about that they told me I'd have to wait 7 weeks for something that was in stock...
Their stock checking is laughable online or in the store. As are some of their stock storage policies - we wanted to buy a table they had in stock, but were informed we'd have to come back in two days as they could only get it when the store was closed!
