I hope it's not a completely typical Guy Thorne novel, as his all-time best-seller, "When it was Dark", was deeply antisemitic, as well as unbelievable, from beginning to end. Mind you, it's a book that is worth reading just the same (available at Gutenberg), if only to show how much attitudes have changed in the last 110 years.
