Hey all, I just picked up this used device today, a bit worried it's a brick though. I connect it to my computer and I can drop in epub files through file explorer no problem. But the Kobo never updates, it shows "no books found" no matter what.

I tried calibre and while I can use it to add a book and verify it is there in windows file explorer when I try to verify the Kobo's contents through calibre it says it could not connect to device.

Kobo desktop would not recognize the device.

I've tried doing a factory reset. The device is showing firmware version 1.9.11

I can connect the kobo to wifi, but it give me an error when trying to access the store.

What else should I try to get this working?
