Is tapping the lower right corner of the screen supposed to turn off/on the frontlight on the Kindle like it does on the Kobo Aura One?

If so, I need to amend my observation regarding the KOReader version above.

Vertical swiping the left side of the screen works correctly changing the frontlight. However, tapping the lower left of the screen does not turn the frontlight off (or on). Since I usually don't turn off the frontlight, it did not occur to me to check earlier. Just thought I would let you know. This issue may have been looked at already since the version of KOReader I'm using is from a couple of days ago.
