It looks as though this is the only place on the Site where I can mention this, because it involves little, if anything, about digital books. But I cannot
not mention this.
The University of Hawaii Press is having an up to 90% off sale November 24-26. I hope that there are more than a handful of 90% titles for sale, to make it worth your time reading this and looking over the sale information. But, I simply don't know how many that there are (yet).
While it appears that there are no digital books in the sale--or possibly even published by the Press, you can get one benefit that you get with digital books--there is no charge to get them to you. There is
free shipping (note: you've got to use a code: FREESHIPPING). You must be a subscriber to their mailing list, in order to be eligible for free shipping. You can sign up for that mailing list on
this webpage.
On
the aforementioned mailing list signup page, you can see what a wide range of subjects that there is of books that the University publishes. It's surprising huge.
Here is
the Press' dedicated webpage for the sale.
