I know I'm not the most organized person, but my Calibre ebook files' formats are missing. They are not in my Calibre library directory for the book entry, even though the book or author folder is there. I have looked everywhere, on my hard drive, iCloud, Dropbox etc.

Have looked at previous posts on this subject, but nothing seems to help.

I read a comment that I should remove the Virtual Library plug-in, but when I try to remove or disable it, a message says that is not allowed.

I have hundreds of ebooks that I spent a lot of time inputting to Calibre, and now I have a very flawed Calibre library.

Any suggestions on how to trouble-shoot this issue?
