I ran the fractal pictures above past my daughter (aged 14). She didn't think they necessarily needed faces, but thought it would help if at least some of them looked more recognizably plant-like. That's easy to do with fractals, of course. So maybe I'll work on some different examples.

i could see fractal ferns or desert plants (in french we say "plantes grasses" or "fat plants" because they have thick rubbery leaves for storing water) ; some of those things look like fractals already.
