Once again, Crossway wants to give us a
free ebook. Once again, it's a good one, worth downloading, IMHO.
Crossway has given away ebooks in the past (and pretty frequently at that). However, all of those giveaways, that I remember, required that we do something (usually, if not always, complete a survey) to get it. With this
giveaway, we have to do . . . nothing. Nothing, that is, but share our email address with Crossway and click on link(s) to the digital format(s) (mobi, ePub, and/or PDF) that we want of the ebook.
The book is
The Story of Redemption: How Each Book of the Bible Relates to the Unfolding Promises of God. No author is stated--with a book like this, authorship would probably be attributed to "the staff" of the publisher.
Although there may be something in this 82-page book that members of some sect or denomination would disagree with, it appears to be basically nondenominational, and something that anyone who describes himself or herself as a "Christian" probably would appreciate.
There is
no charge for the ebook; however, we all know that there is "no free lunch" in life. Crossway uses this
giveaway to advertise, in the lower part of the page, its
The ESV Story of Redemption Bible. If I had to guess, I would say that the
free ebook is probably a synopsis of some feature found in that study Bible.
Here's
the link.
