I don't know if it's the same worldwide, but in the U.S., if you change last part of the 5.10.1.1 download link, i.e., 5.10.1.1.bin to 5.10.1.2.bin, you should be able to download that firmware.

In the U.S., 5.10.1.2 firmware is available at...

...for example.

It seems like it should also be available (soon) via OTA.
Oh that makes sense! At the start, I did load quite a few batches of books onto the kindle so that might explain it. Is there anything I can do or does waiting it out do the trick?
Hmm as I'm not in the states I think that little trick wouldn't work for me but I shall await it! Thanks so much for the pointer
